Sanddragons

Currently four species in North America. These medium sized dragonflies have mostly brown or black coloration with varying shades of gray, green or yellow. The abdomen is moderately clubbed in males with a yellow cerci.  Legs are short.

Inhabits sand-bottomed streams  rivers, and lakes.
